If history has taught me anything, it is that war absolutely solves nothing. How can one take lives and call themselves doing the right thing in the slightest? Typically, the start is caused by power seeking individuals and/or countries. I strongly support this opinion due to the things I have seen/read when it comes to the topic. Being a waste of time and money, wars are not the solution to the problems that brought upon its forthcoming, only the creator of bigger prolonged dilemmas. Another reason is war is just politics in a different form; a country’s government is a major factor in wars, any war a country engages in is to prove a point, either to gain their objective which involves losses and pain regardless of the benefits. Going into any conflict, the only thing that matters is victory or defeat. When a nation loses a war and has to endure that defeat, horrible things unravel within that society’s way of living. On the other side, victory maintains life at the cost of stifling another way of life. I would have to say that common sense is my final reason for supporting this opinion. If people actually believe that using means of violence and devastation is an effective problem-solver in the long run, then by all means they are mistaken. It is impossible, but everyone should have this similar outlook on this issue.
