HTA 450 Event Marketing and Sponsorship
One of the events I attended was the Missouri valley tournament, which was a great experience. There were a few things they did to make it a great tournament, they got together during the week to plan on how they can make that tournament a great one. A group of people put all they ideas together and come up with the best idea that won’t cost too much but it will make people look forward to the tournament. One of the big things they did was have a good half time show. They hired professional people to do stunts that only they can do like flips and dance. That really spices things up for people to look forward towards the half time of the game. Also when people first get to the game they have different activities you can be a part of to be able to win prices, shirts tickets etc. They also have game tape for sell right after the game to your favorite team in the tournament for family’s and friend to get. Also a big part of having a good event is the location you are hosting it at. Things I saw that they can improve in the ticket sales, they only have a specific amount of ticket for each team as far as free ones for your family if you are a player. I think they should have more because some players have a lot of family who drive 400 of miles to come see them play and they wouldn’t want to also have to pay for the whole weekend plus the hotels and other things. Another thing I saw that could improve is on the amount of time things take,
"politicians who dislike [his] overture" that the poor people of Ireland, if given the option, would rather give up their life than experience the "perpetual scene of misfortunes as they have since gone through. Swift's use of satire here serves to expose the English rulers to the reality of the conditions to which they are subjecting the citizens of Ireland. Nonetheless, despite Swift's noticeable contempt for the English, he at no moment ceases to also partially blame the Irish for the circumstances…
the claim that Britishness provides a unifying idea that links people, place and culture. The purpose of this essay is to evaluate the claim that Britishness provides a unifying idea that links people, place and culture. Britishness as a national identity draws in many social science issues, which have resulted in much anxiety, concern, uncertainty and political debate in recent years. When looking at what provides a unifying idea that links people, place and culture, it gives rise to various questions…
and Writing Ms. Capule Quality of Ideas (1) In Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury presents a world where books are illegal, and burned if found. Right now Faber is talkingtalks to Montag about Montag’s desire of books; Faber tells Montag that Montag wants the quality ideas that are in the books, and not the books themselves. In addition to Montag’s desire, Faber tells Montag that all the quality ideas Montag wants are created before Montag’s time. The quality ideas in books and other things happened…
Pay It Forward Trevor’s idea to ask every person he helped to “pay it forward” was an excellent idea. He had very good intentions on making a change in the world. Not everyone can dream so big and expect to make it become a reality, but Trevor made that possible. His idea reached as far as Los Angeles where a reporter picked up the story and led him to Las Vegas to finally find the root of the phenomenal idea. It is amazing to see how one kid at such a young age can make such a big difference…
How to Get Prepared and Start My Own Business . All of us have a lot of ideas about the things that we think about; most of the time we do not even recognize how millions of ideas got through our brains. Even now, when I typed this sentence, it took a while for me to come up with an idea and put it into words, so that all the readers get exactly what I want them to understand after reading my writing. We use our ideas everywhere, since it is something that lets us process and understand the information…
There have been many philosophical ideas that influenced the way the Chinese government worked. Chinese philosophers accepted the freedom of religion and believed that any religion should promote the idea of universal harmony. Religion should be used for spiritual richness of mankind, not for politics in any sense. Two philosophies, Confucianism and Daoism, provide ethical guides to proper behavior, like most religions did. Legalism was a strict code with a harsh government and strict penalties when…
Aristotle? Brett Pluth Philosophy 101D Mr. Harms 3.6.2015 Plato’s philosophy revolves around the idea of forms. He argues that the form of an object is the most real being in existence. Then, he goes on to talk about how the particular participates with the form. After that, Plato proclaims that the least real of the three is the ontology, or being. For example, Plato considers the idea of a dog to be the most real. The actual dog is ontologically less important than the form, but they coincide…

ii) Do you agree/disagree with the argument/ideas? Within the Westphal's paper he has many different opinions expressed by not only himself but other philosophers to help to explain why there was a shift from the traditional theological philosophy to the philosophy of religion. The ideas that Westphal expresses within his paper about the emergence of the modern philosophy of religion have to agree with, such as his idea of the Kernel and the Husk. On the other hand some of the key thinkers that Westphal…
In particular, you don't need a brilliant idea to start a startup around. The way a startup makes money is to offer people better technology than they have now. But what people have now is often so bad that it doesn't take brilliance to do better. Google's plan, for example, was simply to create a search site that didn't suck. They had three new ideas: index more of the Web, use links to rank search results, and have clean, simple web pages with unintrusive keyword-based ads. Above all, they were…
