Cleanliness is an important trait and character for many reasons the first one I can think of in it prevents illnesses. Another, I can think of is it involves hygiene, it also is how people perceive you to be if your room or living area is dirty one would assume you are. I believe cleanliness is the cornerstone of discipline and a trademark of success. Reason being if someone shows up to work dirty and filthy you would not like them then to go far because if a person cannot keep themselves then why would you trust then to be around people and work with them. Without cleanliness I do not feel anyone could go far because it is as important as anything you are taught in school. It is one of those things people judge you on immediately So, cleanliness brings us progress and improvement in all fields of activities and in all spheres of life. By cleanliness of body and limbs, cleanliness of all our articles of use, cleanliness of our dwellings and soul, we gradually move towards divinity. Once again going back to the saying "Cleanliness is next to Godliness".
So what exactly is cleanliness???? Webster says it is “personally neat, careful to keep or make clean” I feel it is the absence of dirt, including dust, stains, bad smells and garbage. Purposes of cleanliness include health, beauty, absence of offensive odor, avoidance of shame, and to avoid the spreading of dirt and contaminants to oneself and others. Something that often times is used to help the cleaning process other the traditional soap and water is bleach. Bleach is said to kill all germs which in turns prevents illness from occurring yes, you will get sick but not as often or as sever. I believe 70% percent of illnesses can be prevented by cleanliness and that also includes many STDs because that is a form of cleanliness as well. So it is a much needed much desired trait that not all people have but, should have to the on extent. Which what one calls clean and what I call clean are completely and ultimately different from each other. Imagine you go to a restaurant and the server comes to your table wiping their nose and with dirt under their fingernails and stains on the apron. What would you think or say….. Let me answer as if I’m
