How to Save and Reopen Local Files with SmithApps

To save files from SmithApps to your local disk:

1. Click on File > Save Database As (“Save As” for Excel)

2. On left side of the Save As window, scow down and select Computer

3. After you select Computer, click on Local Disk (C:) on the right and click Open.

4. Click on Users.

5. Click on your user named folder.

6. Select the folder that you would like to save the file in, and click save.

7. If the following message window shows up, click on Read & Write to allow SmithApps to access your local files and then save.

To open local files with SmithApps:

1. Click on File > Open.

2 Select Computer on the left.

3. Select Local Disk (C:) on the right.

4. Click on Users.

5. Open your user named folder.

6. Find the folder where you saved the file and open the file by selecting it.
