How to be a Flapper

Know what a Flapper girl is…
Not: Some people could blame World War I, women’s suffrage, or even prohibition. Either way there is a new group of women emerging. This group of women are full of risk and willing to change everyone’s view on them. Flappers are the name of this group! If YOU want to defy the weak, pathetic expectations of a women- who had no authority, power over their husbands, or in society, then to become a Flapper would be PERFECT for YOU! We were suppressed to such a strict and formal lifestyle, would we really had any freedom or time to express ourselves? We do not always want to stay home and do household duties but live our life like a man’s life almost! We want to be able to create a new generation of young, wild, and free women of the current 1920′s! Therefore, here are some things you DON’T want to do- if your aspirations are to be a Flapper:
To be a “lady”- Do what you want- be risky!
To be deferential to men
To dress appropriately- There’s no need, just express yourselves.
To be demure/ not forward with men
Not to drink or smoke

Flappers are the new fashion of the 1920’s.
Women of the current day should be able to wear, do, and say what they want! This is exactly what an ideal Flapper does- we can:
Wear short skirts, backless/sleeveless gowns, silk stockings (etc)
Smoke cigarettes
Go out with male chaperones at night!
Dance with men (without wearing gloves)
Have short, bobbed haircuts
