Adolf Hitler was born on April 20th, 1889 in Austria, Hungary. He was 16 years old when he dropped out of high school. As he grew up, he developed great public-speaking skills and used them to his advantage. Later in his life, Hitler’s speeches to the people were an important contribution to his political position. He was a persuasive speaker. He managed to convince most of the German public that the Jews were a growing threat and conspiracy and that they needed to be exterminated from the face of the Earth. According to some, “Hitler had a keen and sinister insight into mass psychology, and he was a master of intrigue and maneuver,” (Pearson Education, page 1). His intention to rid the world of Jews was somewhat accomplished, however not completely fulfilled. Hitler’s spouse was Eva Braun. Shortly before Germany’s defeat, Adolf and Eva committed suicide together in an underground bunker in Berlin. The cause of death is not confirmed.

Hitler marked history with his dictatorship in the 1900s. He started his rise to power when he volunteered for the Bavarian army in 1914. From there, he became a great military leader. He was then appointed chancellor of Germany in 1933. He obtained authority within the National Socialist German Workers Party, and eventually rose to power and gained control over the German government in 1934. Hitler was also the head of the Nazi Party. They persecuted Jews and sent them to work camps, or death camps. The creation of concentration camps made Hitler responsible for the death of more than 6 million Jews in Europe.

Under Adolf Hitler’s rule, Germany expanded and took over most of Europe, and even parts of North Africa. He developed allies, which were also important factors in his rise to power. Hitler gained the trust of the people. He did so by making promises to the public. He claimed that he would improve the conditions of their society, and manipulated them into adapting anti-Semitism.

While Hitler was in power, he was an independent leader. Doctor Geoffrey Megargaree
