Should the rich take care of the poor?

For a while people have been wondering if the rich should take care of the poor. On one side you have the rich the people who succeeded in what they did in life. But on the other side you have the poor which with some have had to drop out of high school because they needed to support their family. Both have great points, but which one is right? In my personal opinion I think since the rich have earned their money and deserve to do what they want with their money, but if the rich want to give back to the poor they should but, it’s not their responsibility to take care of the poor. People should agree with me because if the rich earned the money why should they take care of the poor if the rich does not want to but, if they want to take care of the poor it’s a great thing to do! Another reason why someone should agree with me is because the poor should have worked harder for their money I understand that some people can’t help that their poor but some that can help it should have worked harder for their money. One more reason why you should agree with me is that how hard the rich worked to get where they are today they graduated high school and some even went to college. A lot of rich people got different degrees some got there medical degree some even went on to be very successful trainers and writers.
