title?
A “hero” should be someone with a good set of morals, someone who stands up for what is right despite the consequences of the “hero’s” actions, and last of all someone who does nice, genuine, acts of kindness just “because”. A hero like Superman but a hero doesn’t have to have superpowers to be a hero. That of which could be argued about Cooper Folkerts, he has helped a kid up when he tripped, a little act of kindness can always go a long way. However, for other reasons, Superman is the hero that is easier to describe.
As far as Superman goes he has the ethics that of Job, like he is brave and merciful. Well, the reason as to why the statement that superman is brave is that he goes into fights with the most dangerous villains ever like Lex Luthor, Bizarro, Darkseid, Doomsday and so many other dangerous villains that can kill you if you’re not Superman. Also, notice he never kills any of the villains he defeats, but put them away in jail. This obviously means that he is merciful and he knows that everyone always deserves a second chance to become good.
Superman stands up for what is right. An example would when he defeats robbers trying to rob a bank, showing that he takes the initiative to “take out the baddies”. Again fighting the superpowered villains that the police cannot take care of themselves requires the help of heroes, like Superman who stands up for what he believes in. Also he never joins sides with the baddies whenever it is offered. This shows that the ethics that s uperman believes in and stands up for are strong in him.
Superman does random acts of kindness like in the movie Superman vs. the Elite, he allows people to make a show that makes money but sends all the proceeds to charity. What says act of kindness like making money for charity? Also, what Superman does like saving cats from

trees or helping an old lady across the street. This shows Superman does random acts of kindness that are worthwhile and can teach the public things.
Also nothing says a hero or superhero like superpowers or weaknesses. Superman has the ability to fly, blow icy winds, super strength, super hearing, supervision powers like xray vision and laser, vision, and invulnerability to nonmagical attacks (Superman Biography and History).
Honestly this sounds like the hero of anyone’s dreams! The writers also obviously envisioned it to be the hero they dream of, giving him godlike qualities. Then there are also Superman’s weaknesses, mainly kryptonite.
