Mr. Cash register was a young male by the name of Jett Rennert that went in and robbed a bank in a fashionably manner. Police say the suspect in the Provo Wells Fargo Bank robbery that occurred at 10:10 Saturday morning. He pulls out a gun and demands cash from the teller saying "Give me your money." After receiving the money, he quickly takes off. The total time that the bank robbery took was 42 seconds, which doesn’t really allow law enforcement to arrive at the scene. The robber Jett Rennert was wearing sunglasses, a hoodie and bandana. That makes it hard to recognize him, but police are hopeful someone might see something familiar.If it wasn’t for the cops who busted a couple of Cottonwood car thieves later that day, Jett might have gotten away. Police were alerted by a neighbor who heard something around 3:30 in the morning near 7300 South and 2900 East. When police arrived the first suspect took off running. Police say he was dropping stolen items and jumping gates to get away at a chance of freedom. Unfortunately his luck ran out, and police arrested 19-year-old Jett Rennert.
Jett must have planned that he was going to rob banks because his tactic was fluent and the job was completed in a timely manner. After evacuating the scene darting away, that's when cops spotted the second suspect hiding in a backyard. The unnamed juvenile was arrested after a brief struggle.
