Many organizations operate in multiple countries and must learn to deal with the issues caused by foreign travel, different cultures, and varied business values. Successful organizations are embracing the idea that diversity strengthens an organization. Recognizing and valuing differences, instead of assuming and trying to force people into the same mold, is a much more effective organizational attitude. An effective manager must master globalization, intuition, and diversity to help their organization succeed.

McDonald’s is one of the world's most well-known and valuable brands and holds a leading share in the globally branded quick service restaurant segment of the informal eating-out market in virtually every country in which we do business.The big yellow arches symbolize America’s universal dominance in the fast food market and in the world economy as a whole, spreading tidings of the happy meal far and wide. We even analyze currency rates and the standard cost of living in countries based on what it would cost to buy a Big Mac.
When you globalize a restaurant, it would only make sense for countries to put their splash of diversity into the menu. For example, Items like the Paneer Salsa Wrap (paneer is an Indian cheese) or the Maharaja Mac which was originally made with lamb (beef is not a common item in a majority Hindu population) but is now made with chicken, show how McDonald’s has incorporated local tastes into their menu to make the food more appealing for the native culture.
