Fossil record is evidence of evolution because of the fossils that scientist have found. Over the past years scientist found fossils of the same animal but with different features and how it changed over the years. For example a horse, scientist found the feet of horse and put them into a line and started describing all of the changes that it made. At first the horse had claws in the end the horse ended up taller and with hooves to support the horse. So that explains the change over time which is evolution. Biogeography is another evidence of evolution since it’s the study of study of the distribution of plants and animals throughout the world. Well some of the animals all over the world are alike. For Example, mice, there are two different kinds First is the Mus (Rodent) , it’s know for house pet that is mostly kept in houses and are small. They live in Eurasia to North Africa. The other one is the Dasycercus (Mulagara) and look different than the Mus but they still have come of the characteristics. They live in central Australia. A lot of animals all over the world have one similar looking creature and it all comes back to change over time and Pangea. Once all the animals looked alike and when the world separated, they each started changing and adapting to their environment.
Molecular Homologies is an evidence of evolution. According to Darwin’s theory of common descent, the homologies represent characteristics inherited with some modification from a corresponding
