My First Surgery I had always had problems with my knees from soccer, but it comes from playing the sport. About midway into my freshman year I got injured playing. I tore my meniscus, partially tore my ACL and tore my hip flexor. For weeks I just sat at home and moped. My grades dropped in school and I was still in pain everyday. One day I just got sick of this and knew I had to do something. I went to the doctor and I was told the best thing to do was to go to physical therapy. Once I got home I was walking around and even drove to go get food. I was extreme surprised how painless this was. The next morning I was in severe pain. A pain like no other, and guess what? It was time to go to school. I had to present a project with a group and my teacher was adamant that if you miss your presentation you fail. My teacher was shocked to see me. She said you
