I will respond and challenge, racist or other abusive remarks or behaviour, made by children or adults in my setting. I will correct children and give an explanation appropriate to the child's age and stage of development.

I will be a positive role model to the children and will give honest and truthful answers. I will admit my mistakes and learn from them. I will be open minded and I will treat children and their families with respect and care.

I will make reasonable adjustments to my setting to accommodate children's specific requirements.

I will work with parent's very closely so I know if a child may have individual or special needs, so I can offer my help to the children and families. I also ensure that I will work together with other agencies if a child has any specific requirements. If necessary I will take training specific to the child's question.

I ensure that I provide equal opportunities to all the children in my setting, to meet their full potential, while taking into account their age stage of development home language special education needs.
