How to Judge The Content of a Person’s Character? Character is essentially the integrity and moral strength of a person. A person cannot be rightly judged by another who does not possess any morals to call his own. Society and individuals today go about the whole process in the wrong manner. More specifically, we have crude prejudices that are instilled in us as we grow up. The definite traits to look for in a man’s character is, how he approaches life on a daily basis, his work ethic, and how he conducts himself in crises. A person’s character expands much farther than what he sounds like or looks like. We have to take enough time and actually get to know a person before judgments can be made. A person’s willingness to work hard and delivery of a conscious effort is vital in the perception of his character. For instance, the saying is, “ If you don’t work you don’t eat.” The amount of effort that a person exerts to at his work is a great indication of the type of person he is. An individual has to be able to balance leisure activities with their occupation. Humans with high character have an outstanding work ethic displayed in both men and women. It is just like a supervisor picking a crew for a job; he is most likely to choose those who he knows will work hard and make him successful in the mission. During life, we go through many trials and tribulations. We have the discretion to lie down through hard times or stand strong and persevere. A person that chooses the second option not only has high character, but can influence the individuals around him to persevere as well. We have no control over sudden mishaps and or life experiences. However, what we can control is whether to engage each situation or to allow the experience to conquer us.
