The Brady Bill
President Clinton signed this bill into law on November 30, 1993 and it went into effect February 28, 1994. The bill was named after James Brady, who was shot during an assassination attempt on President Reagan. The Brady Bill is a handgun control bill and requires a prospective handgun buyer to wait 5 business days for a background check to which the sale is either accepted or denied.

Though Apple has been around since 1976, Apple’s sales really didn’t take off until the invention of the IMac computer in 1998, followed by Ipod, and Itunes cementing it’s place in the entertainment/technological world.
