Do you need a vacation, but do not want to pay an outlandish price? Or do you want to get away from the city, but still have plenty of entertainment options? If so, Cleona, Pennsylvania is the place for you. The borough is Nestled in eastern Pennsylvania, Cleona is an idyllic stop for many tourists. People of all ages will enjoy the charm and charisma of this unhurried community in Lebanon County.
Cleona is just a stone's throw from several popular tourists attractions, all of which are affordable and quite entertaining. Visitors to Cleona can hop in their cars and travel just a few miles to the famed Hershey Park, where they will splash in the Boardwalk, scream on the rollercoasters, and munch some of that delicious Hershey's chocolate.
Nature lovers will appreciate attractions such as the Union Canal Tunnel Park. Tourists can take a narrated boat ride down the historic canal, which is the oldest existing transportation tunnel in the United States. Pet friendly, the park itself is open year round , so guests can venture down the marked walking trails with their four-legged friends or picnic under the shade of the public pavilions.
Not far from the canal is the the Lebanon Valley Mall, which encompasses over fifty retailers. Shoppers can browse in the large department stores or visit one of the unique specialty shops. Also inside of the mall is the Great Escape Movie Theatre, a state of the art multi-screen facility that sports an enormous arcade and a mouth-watering snack bar.
During the summer, children love romping in the community pool or cavorting at the local playground. Families can enjoy a pleasurable night at Yogey's Miniature Golf and Ice Cream parlor, and couples can savor a relaxing night together at the Coleman Amphitheater's Music in
