Good afternoon class and Mrs Crothers. How do you think people feel when they are suffering a serious illness? People from experience of this say they felt depressed, worried and alone. How would you like to feel like this 24/7? Patients who are abandoned by their family or told there are no available treatments may feel euthanasia is the only solution. I feel euthanasia is wrong and should be banned worldwide. Euthanasia is when a very sick person is assisted in taking their own life to relieve them from suffering pain. In the Netherlands over 3000 died from euthanasia with a doctor’s assistance. I feel there are alternative treatments available in some cases. We do not have to kill the patient to kill the symptoms. It is murder. Even though Euthanasia is legal in only three countries many people is travelling over to get this process carried out. Euthanasia can bring very dramatic effects upon family members and friends. Family members might begin to feel guilty as they may feel they didn’t do enough to stop their loved one doing this. It’s as if a black cloud has come over their whole life bringing depression, sadness and tears. Death is a very hard thing to get over and takes time. Friends and family will never be able to forget and fully get over it. The law says “To kill another person deliberately is murder or man slaughter, even if the other person asks you to kill them” So I believe euthanasia should be treated the same. It is murder. If someone I loved and

Justice Speech. English. Good morning/afternoon class and sir/miss. Most people would accept that justice should be the aim of any legal system. Never the less, some legal systems exist without any apparent notion of justice. One only has to think of the totalitarian regimes in Iraq under Saddam and in Russia under Stalin, where the law was simply a means of repression, not a means of doing justice. The word justice appears in many of the United States’ most important documents, including the…
The importance of Being Earnest is a comedy of manners, as it explores codes of upper and middle class society. For example,"I don't play accurately - any one can play accurately - but I play with wonderful expression.". However, The Importance of Being Earnest has other types of comedy, such as, comedy of humours and farce. vast carelessness,” even after the death of Gatsby. Tom, who is a boorish bully, uses his social status and physical strength to dominate those around him like George Wilson. Wilson is taunted by Tom as he’s from a lower class. Although the East Eggers, “old money,” possess grace, taste and elegance, they lack integrity and decency as they prove themselves to be careless bullies who are used to money’s ability to make their lives easier. The Buchanans are again a good example as instead of condescending…

centred around Nick’s retelling of the story of Jay Gatsby”. Discuss In his novel, titled ‘The Great Gatsby’ F. Scott Fitzgerald uses Nick’s narration as an expression of his critique of America in the 1920s. During the Jazz Age, there was a distinct class divide between the newly rich and those of “old money.” As a nation, America has always been a country of hope and for most of it’s history the idea of the American Dream, that through hard work one can achieve wealth and happiness, has been a source…

I Believe it should be, the issue of Immunisation is surrounded by myths and misconceptions. Some parents are concerned about vaccine safety and effectiveness but the risk of complications from childhood diseases such as measles is much higher than the risk of immunisation reactions. Researchers have not established any link between immunisation and autism, diabetes or sudden unexpected death…

His intention was to take a normal scene and create a modern day party that portrayed the youth and beauty of his friends. The arrangement of Luncheon of the Boating Party represents a relatively new Impressionist…
