September 30, 2013 The Criticism Of Large Corporations Walmart and Home Depot have been criticized for running mom and pop shops out of business. Walmart has many outlets around the world. Sam Walton, founder of Walmart was an ordinary man that drove a regular old truck. Sam borrowed a $20.000 loan that made him billions of dollars later in the future by the opening of Walmart. Not much is known about the Walton’s because they refused interviews. Even in Sam’s last days of his life he made sure that his money will continue with his family and not by taxes because he divided his money between his wife and kids (Edemarium 2009).Large corporations may cause hardship on small business as a result of small business lowering their prices, moving closer to the large corporations, and the use of electronic kiosks. Walmart have been criticized of running small businesses out of business. In reality, Walmart is trying to help the customers save money and have products available through many sources to make buying convenient. “Across the world Walmart is saving customers money. In 2011 alone, Walmart saved American families US$1.1 billion of fresh fruits and vegetables through its everyday low prices promise’’ (PR Newswire US 04/05/12 p.3).Walmart does not only help customers save money, but they give back to the community. Walmart is a good source to many people over the world. Large corporations can be helpful to the public if everyone will work together and not blame each other with opinions. When Walmart comes to a town; many small businesses rearrange what they usually to make sells for their store. Small businesses want to make a sell to, so they do what is necessary to make their sales. Many small businesses that are close to Walmart will raise up their prices on items Walmart does not carry; to make up for items that they do not sell much. The small business that is further away will lower their prices so that they can receive traffic. If small businesses keep up with the economy; they can make a profit for their small business as well as Walmart (USC Marshall 2001-2013) Home Depot is another large corporation that has been criticized of running mom-and-pop shops out of business. Home Depot try to reach out and help the military community to be able to utilize with the challenges of today’s job. “Home Depot currently employs more than 35,000 veterans and service members, 1,500 of which are deployed for active duty at any given time”(PR Newswire Oct. 10,2012 p.4) .Home Depot mission is to help the military community with the resources they need so that they will be able to use what they learned for future jobs. Home wants to give back to the military women and men that help support the United States Of America. Many people have a lot to say about large corporations, but there is some good that is happening from the large corporations. Home Depot mission is to help the military community with the resources they need so that they will be able to use what they learned for future jobs. Home Depot wants to give back to the military women and men that help support the United States of America. Bernie Marcus and Author Blank Co- founders of Home Depot were officers in a home center chain called Handy Dan in Southern California in the late 1970s.They both learned about the marking of items and how the percentage of sales decreased. Bernie and Arthur used that experiment with Home Depot and that is how they became so large; with very low prices. Bernie and Arthur train their employees so that the business can be runned exactly the way they want it. Bernie and Arthur want to have happy customers( Media 2013).

There is currently no treatment for MLD, and because of that, Anthony has become what many people would consider a “vegetable”, essentially brain dead but still functioning bodily. Because of this, because I really just cannot bear to witness another beautiful kid be destroyed by his own genotype and because its happening far…
