Cloud Computing We use our computers for just about everything. Whether you use a desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone, the way you store your information is important. Not only knowing how to store your information, but the availability to access it is also important. Storing information on your computer is relatively easy, but what happens when you start to run out of space? You could buy another hard drive and transfer your data, but that is not easy and takes time. You could burn…
TOPIC: CLOUD COMPUTING ABSTRACT Cloud computing is basically an internet based network made up of large number of servers – mostly based on open standards, modular and inexpensive. It reduces the time required to procure heavy resources and boot new server instances in minutes, allowing one to quickly scale capacity, both up and down, as ones requirement changes. Clouds contain vast amounts of information and provide a variety of services to large…

It is a rapidly developing and excellent promising technology. Cloud computing is the product of the combination of grid computing, distributed computing, parallel computing, and ubiquitous computing. Cloud Computing model…
ABSTRACT Cloud computing is defined by Cearly and Phifer in their case study titled “Case Studies in Cloud Computing” as “a style of computing in which scalable and elastic IT-related capabilities are provided ‘ as a service’ to customers using Internet technologies”. Cloud computing services had been provided by major vendors such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, Hewlett-Packard, and others for business computing until recently when Apple Corporation announced iCloud for consumers. Therefore…
Cloud computing is a general term for anything that involves delivering hosted services over the Internet. These services are broadly divided into three categories: Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). A cloud service has three distinct characteristics that differentiate it from traditional hosting. It is sold on demand, typically by the minute or the hour; it is elastic -- a user can have as much or as little of a service as they want…

INTRODUCTION TO CLOUD COMPUTING The Geek myths tell of creatures plucked from the surface of the earth enshrined as constellations in the night sky. Something similar is happening today in the world of computing. Data and programs are being swept up from the desktop PCs and server rooms and installed in “the computer cloud”. In general there is a shift in geography of computation. The basic definition of what exactly is cloud computing is “An emerging computer paradigm where data and services reside…
