SuperGroup PLC - SuperGroup is a very distinctive and unique branded fashion retailer offering clothing and accessories. Superdry concessions, e-commerce and its uk and worldwide operations. Supergroup plc was founded in 1985, it is a company that develop a wide range of men’s and woman’s clothing. They trade under brands such as ‘Superdry’ and the ‘Cult’ stores.
Super group had 105 UK and European standalone retail stores, they have 71 UK stores and 56 international. Supergroup also have 143 franchised and licensed stores, Super dry is now sold worldwide to 54 different countries. They sell to over 100 countries on their websites as of October 2012.
SuperGroup PLC’s objectives are to roll-out of standalone and concessions in the UK. The group want to create a larger product range. Expand the business wholesale across the UK and worldwide. Create the online offering service to their websites. The group want to expand their other brand such as SurfCo California and 77Breed these brands are less well known to the market.
The Groups Marketing objectives are too open up and add 20 UK stores (Cult and Superdry) annually over the next 4 years. Also to open up 13 Superdry stores across the United Arab Emirates within the next 3 years. They also want to branch throughout south America. Headquarters Swindon, The national Trust has over 5000 staff members and over 60,000 volunteers across the nation. The Trust was founded on 12 January 1895 by Octavia Hill, The future of the national trust depends on the generous support of 3.6 million members of the trust, 14.8 million visitors and 55,000 volunteers. They are the largest voluntary conservation organisation in Europe (recruiting more than one member every minute during the summer months).The National Trust is an independent charity rather than a government institution.
The National Trust’s responsibilities are very large. Through ownership and management they protect, and welcome everyone to explore 709 miles (1,141 kilometres) of coastline; 254,000 hectares (627,000 acres) of land, much of which is of outstanding natural beauty; more than 350 historic houses and gardens, ancient monuments, nature reserves and parks.
The year ended February 2010, the Trust's total income was £406 million. The largest sources of income were membership subscriptions £125.2 million direct property income (£105.6 million) and legacies (£50.3 million). In addition National Trust Enterprises, which undertakes profit-making activities such as running gift shops and restaurants at properties, contributed £54.7 million. Expenses included £177.4 million for routine property running costs and £100 million for capital projects.
