I believe that this is a very debatable point. It is agreeable that Macbeth was a weak husband. However, I do not agree with the view that he was a brave and valiant soldier who fought to the bitter end. Rather, I feel that he was a craven tyrant who thirsted for power, and was undeniably choked by his own paranoia, deceit and “vaulting ambition” in the end.
