Dear Sir or Madam, Please consider my son, Brian Scott Lewis, for the full fee waiver to become a member of the National Society of High School Scholars. He is entering his junior year and for the past two years of high school he has always been on the principle’s list of the honor roll (the highest honor) for getting a 4.0 GPA. He has overall maintained a 3.75 GPA and gets along well with all his teachers, staff and other students. He has an excellent reputation in the school and community. He is a member of Student Council, Key Club and National Honor Society. He plays in the Cambridge High School Symphony Band and Pep Band. He has recently joined the Cambridge City Band (the oldest continuing band in Ohio since 1841) and plays the trombone. He is a member of the Community Youth Choir, and has participated in choir at church. He is a member of First United Methodist Church where he is an usher and works on the Audio Visual Team where he runs the computer for the worship services. He became an Eagle Scout in August 2011 having completed his project, designing and building a decorative retaining wall in the Cambridge City Park. He passed away suddenly and unexpectedly last September 2011 at age 61. Needless to say, this has been
