In the book called “Between Shades of Gray” the author wrote a story on World War II. In this book there is a girl called Lina, that is the protagonist, her brother called Jonas and her mother named Elena. In this novel, the author described some roadblocks that Lina and her family had in their lives while WWII was going on. In this book, there are some difficult parts from the start. It was different when while reading the book the whole story changes, in fact, while keeping reading the story you realize that those were flashbacks and not printer mistakes. During the flashback, the author tries to as much information on Lina’s past keeping the story more entertaining. Every Flashback is almost like her present, is just like living the same life twice but in the different places. In these events, Jonas is one that also gets involved in them. Jonas has to carry a full suitcase is probably no lighter than 10 15 kilos. I mean I'm 14 and I can barely lift up 5 kilos. Jonas helped his family in any way possible. He brought food for them, he supplied water and he worked more than her sister. Jonas is a little youngster that worked as hard as her mother to keep their family safe where if there was another child he probably would’ve given up with
