BACTERIA - WANTED POSTER
Procedure:
1. You will work on this in groups of two to research your pathogen!
2. You will have one period to research your disease; any additional time needed for research or production of the poster is to be done on your own. (Research sheet is on the back)
3. INDIVIDUALLY: You will create and design a most wanted poster based on the research you do on the back. Make sure to follow the project description below.
Project Description Checklist:
Make a wanted poster for one of the bacterial pathogen you have been given in class. Below is a list of all the pathogens your classmates maybe researching. Poster is to be on 8.5" x 11" paper. Include:
Name of the disease and pathogen.
"Photo" (cartoon-like) – drawn and in COLOR! – label the DNA, cell membrane, and cilia or flagella (if is has it).
Include a background to the “photo” to show its “hide out”
Organism's m.o. (police jargon) (How the organism attacks and spreads)
Most common victims to prey upon
Hide out of the culprit (where it is most likely to be found)
Most common injury done to victim
Most effective weapons against the germ.
