Arranged marriages have no place in today’s society because it is a very important decision that only the bride and groom should have control of. Love should always be the basis for a marriage and arranged marriages can be organised between families with only financial considerations in mind.

When someone mentions marriages, what is the first thing you think of? I am sure that most of us think about a beautiful person with who you are going to spend rest of your life. If you are going to spend rest of your life with that person you should choose carefully. It is a very important decision which has to be made by you. Is there anyone else that can do it better than you? No, there is no one in the world that can choose better than you. You know your personality better than anyone else knows. Someone might say that parents can do it better because they have known you your whole life. I am sure that these days many parents do not know everything about their child. Nowadays children like to keep some things to themselves.

Love should always be the basis for a marriage. If you marry someone who you do not love or who does not love you, then there is no reason to live with that person. I want to ask you, would you like to lie down in a bed, wake up in the morning or come home every day and see a person who you do not love? I can surely say that no one in this world would like to live like that. Therefore you should always look for love before getting marriage. Arranged marriages can be organised between families with only financial considerations in mind. In some situation parents who want to arrange marriage for their child are only concerned about the financial situation of their child’s partner. Sometimes parents might say maybe you do not love him/her now but he/she is well situated. You might not live in love for the first couple of years but you will have everything you need and then love will grow and you will live happily for rest of your lives. But is there anything more important than love between two
