Professor Charles R. Magel once said, “‘Ask the experimenters why they experiment on animals, and the answer is: ‘Because the animals are like us.’ Ask the experimenters why it is morally okay to experiment on animals and the answer is: “Because they are not like us’. Animal experimentation rests on a logical contradiction’”. Each year over 100 million animals die in laboratories in the United States (Peta). These deaths alone are just happening in the United States. These innocent animals die because of all kinds of testing and experimentations done on them. Animal cruelty in laboratories is an issue we need to address because animals are suffering, being mistreated and killed. Ways to prevent this would be by letting the world know what is According to ProCon.org they stated, “Animal research has also contributed to major advances in understanding and treating conditions such as breast cancer, brain injury, childhood leukemia, cystic fibrosis, malaria, multiple sclerosis, tuberculosis, and many others.” What this is saying is that with the help of animals testing they are able to find more remedies to these diseases. They are able to experiment on animals instead of on humans so humans won’t get hurt. Instead animals are the ones that are getting hurt because they are going through so much and suffering along the way. Another example would be, “Animals do not have the cognitive ability or moral judgement that humans do because of this they have been treated differently than humans by nearly every culture throughout recorded history”. This is saying that because animals don’t have rights, we have the authority to do what we want with them. Nevertheless, animal testing is hurting the animals which is causing them so have problems and sometimes even causes their deaths. According to Peta they stated, “Each year, more than 100 million animals-including mice rats, frogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, monkeys, fish, and birds-are killed in

For the past two thousand years, animals have had scientific experiments done on them. Whether those experiments are morally correct or not, humans still tend to do all types of experiments for many different reasons. People have a tendency to overlook the pain and suffering animals go though. When there are several other options to test, it shows how there is a lack of consideration to the animals. Animal testing should only be used in non-harmful experiments or when no other resources are available…
Scientists should seek different alternatives to animal experimentation. Science and technology has had so many advances in recent years, that there must be other alternatives that allow animal testing to stop being necessary. Options such as experimentation on human stem cells may be a way to experiment without hurting and killing animals. Another option is the creation of computers or robots that would have the ability to simulate human reactions to products or chemicals substances. People just…
Running Head: ANIMALS SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR TESTING Animals Should Not Be Used For Testing Ashley Hernandez Esperanza Academy 1 Running Head: ANIMALS SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR TESTING 2 More than 100 million animals every year suffer and die in cruel tests of chemicals, drugs, food, and cosmetics. In recent years the practice of using animals for biomedical research has come under several criticism by animal protection and animal rights groups (PETA, 2014). Laws have bee…
To CMH0114: The testing of animals in a laboratory simply comes down to the value of life. You can justify nearly any action you take as long as you discount the value of life. In justifying what experiments take place you simply point to the greater good that can be realized from what is learned and how that benefits any one group. It was not that long ago the same thing was done to justify medical experimentation on humans of a different race. There was a tremendous amount of information gathered…

Stop Animal Experimentation The debate for animal rights and stopping experimentation has been going on for decades Animal experimentation throughout the world has become a huge problem. Every year there are millions upon millions of animals used in an attempt to benefit human existence (HOPES). It’s not that I’m against a long life expectancy or having and allergic reaction is my favorite thing to have to deal with I’m just concerned with the well-being of another species. The Truth About Animal Experimentation Millions of animals are used in scientific and medical research, including mice, rats, rabbits, primates, cats, dogs and other animals. They are locked inside cold barren cages in laboratories across the country. Unfortunately all they can do is sit and wait in fear of the next terrifying and painful procedures that will be performed on them. More than 100 million animals every year suffer and dies in cruel chemical, drug, food and cosmetic…
Paper Animal Cruelty Animal cruelty is a growing social issue that many people do not understand. Each type of abuse has displayed certain patterns of behavior that we can use to help understand more about why people commit the crimes they do today. Animal cruelty is broken down into two main categories: active and passive. Active cruelty implies malicious intent, where a person had deliberately and intentionally causes harm to an animal. I want to argue to argue for the prevention of animal cruelty…
Have you ever heard the name of “Animal liberation front”? This front in UK has raided animal research facilities, carried out arson attacks and planted car bombs even, only to stop the animal experimentation, which in their language is to prevent the cruelty to animals. The debate about animal experimentation in scientific researches is hotting up. Numerous associations are completing exercises to stop the utilization of creatures and to tighten up the laws that direct such experimentation. However…
