For the past two thousand years, animals have had scientific experiments done on them. Whether those experiments are morally correct or not, humans still tend to do all types of experiments for many different reasons. People have a tendency to overlook the pain and suffering animals go though. When there are several other options to test, it shows how there is a lack of consideration to the animals. Animal testing should only be used in non-harmful experiments or when no other resources are available. Animals are getting hurt every day due to experiments. However, scientists are not considering what the animals are going through, but what the people are learning from it. Being in pain is a situation everyone wants to prevent from experiencing. When people can go as far as shooting and stabbing animals, then the experiments are only going to become more severe. Animals are opened up and experimented on all the time, even though there are other resources that are just as gratifying. As one would imagine, in today's technologically advanced world, science has made tremendous progress. Many alternatives exist instead of live animal research. These creatures are feeling pain they do not deserve. Society may need these tests and results, but one would agree it should be done in the fastest and safest way possible.
