How Do You View Type 1 Diabetes?
When it comes to type 1 diabetes many people seem to be confused on what it actually is. Many people see type 1 diabetes as a disease that can kill you suddenly. In fact type 1 diabetes is where your pancreas does not produce enough insulin for your body.
Your body produces insulin to give you energy. There is nothing that you can do to prevent type 1 diabetes and it mainly affects children. There is also no way to get rid of type 1 diabetes. It is a chronic disease that you will have for life and will require injections.

When it comes to type 1 diabetes there are a few signs and symptoms that you can look out for and they include the following:
Deep, rapid breathing
Stomach pain
Flushed Face
Dry skin and mouth

Frequent urination
Unintended weight loss
Extreme hunger
Mood changes

Treatment Regimes
Treating type 1 diabetes is pretty simple even though it may seem confusing to those who are younger in age and a little scary especially when it comes to administering an insulin shot. There are two different types of insulin regimens and they include intensive insulin treatment and conventional insulin treatment
Intensive insulin treatment helps keep your blood sugar in tight control. Within this treatment you will need to take three or more insulin shots per day.
Conventional insulin treatment involves taking one to three insulin shots per day. Also eating healthier will be beneficial.
