The article is relevant because it gives me background information on the breed, without considering any opinion whatsoever. It simply includes who and what pit bulls are. This article presents information on the United Kingdom’s canine genocide attempt on breed legislation laws under the Dangerous Dog Act. It focuses on why many British people believe that pit bulls are unsafe and should be made illegal or killed. Although, it also shows how there is no evidence to support the criminalization and destruction of the breed. This article is relevant because it shows why Britain believes that pit bulls are dangerous, but also explores that there is no evidence to back this theory up. It also talks about how many pit bulls, regardless of their history or age were taken from their homes, just because of their breed. The article is current which was published in April of 2011. The article is credible, because it is a scholarly journal with a work cited page. Quality of the article was excellent by being up-to-date and having subtitles to focus on certain areas of the articles, which later helped me to find information quickly.
