The law enforcement can do to prevent the spread of gangs and gang violence in the U.S is getting them to have a taste of life in prison if they continue going the wrong path. School involvement and interventions at young age can guide juveniles to a better future. Better laws in the streets will control juveniles actions and keeping them on track.

Juvenile membership in Gangs continue to grow in the U.S. Law enforcement can prevent the spread of gangs and gang violence in the U.S through Intervention. Intervention can cure many juveniles out of those dark thoughts that are put in their head by bad influences. Also it can give them someone to have to talk to or just to listen to their problems. One of the main reasons why many juveniles join gangs is to feel like they belong, If their parents do not show them like they belong or have a hard time at home they will turn to the gangs.

Law enforcement can also have programs at school and out of school to prevent violence

and gangs. Programs like D.A.R.E that teaches children the importance of saying no to gangs.
Programs that can give people a little taste of how jail/.prison can be , will always be a great idea. Having an live experience of the real jail food and living it will open up their eyes. This afterwards can help out even more by the fact that they will be talking about their experiences to their family members and friends and have them aware of the consequences as well.
More and better laws towards juveniles can give a hand to this problem. Having more police officers whether on bike, walking or in cars around the night time. Around that time juveniles go out and start doing crimes. Having a certain curfew for them can limit the violence or even end it. Laws such as gang sentencing can be very helpful. Anyone that is from a gang or just hanging out with them will get sentence as one
