Option 01 Build Practical and Technical HR Knowledge
This CIPD course is a very important thing for my continuous development both personally/professionally. It is will allow me to build on my Human Resource knowledge.
The Home learning study course has great advantage for me because it allows me to still take care of my family business. It has the added bonus of being flexible and very convenient because I am not required to attend college. The VLC is a great advantage because it allows me as the student to go to the relevant areas on line and view the recorded weekly class again at I time that suits my life style.
This type of study also has some disadvantages and may not be suitable for some of my needs. There is a lack of support from fellow students. I have had very little contact with my peers so far?
The more traditional method of study would have allowed me to interact with other students on a regular basis and discuss /trouble shoot particular areas of assignments or even work together as a group. There could also be a disadvantage with the technology side of home study/distance learning. As a student on this particular course it is essential to be prepared, well organised and disciplined need to fully understand and find your way around the VLC and relevant materials. Needs your full concentration to multi task during live lessons due to the fact that the students needs to take notes, read what the tutor/students are writing and actually interact with the group at the same time.
Option 02 Collate and Interpret Data.
I have evaluated the options for the criteria and believe this particular option is also important for developing my development needs. It can give me the advantage by reviewing my options/priorities by looking at time, money and quality to get things absolutely right before deciding on my plan of action. The primary advantage of forecasting is that it provides the business/individual with valuable information; therefore it allows the individual/organisation to collect and summarise the data systematically. It can highlight any critical factors, sound out the views/opinions of others, allows others to see something you may have missed.
Disadvantage of this particular option it is not really possible to accurately forecast the future, because of the qualitative nature of forecasting. You
