Profession / Company: Film producer, screenwriter, director, and entrepreneur. He is the founder, chairman and chief executive of Lucasfilm Limited.
Background information about this person (where they’re from, what they’re known for, achievements, etc.):
George Lucas was born in Modesto, California on May 14, 1944.
George Lucas is best known for his movies Star Wars and Indiana Jones.
Some of his achievements include being awarded first prize at the 1967-1968 National Student Film Festival. He was also awarded the Life Achievement Award in 2009. He was also named among the 100 greatest Americans by the Discovery Channel.
