Abortion has always been a controversial issue in all aspects and eras. Many may take the easy way out of having a baby others have an abortion because there not prepared to have a child. In our 21st century society point fingers mainly at teenagers and believe they are the ones who choose to have an abortion. Although that is not always the case abortion is open to teenagers and adults. The decision of whether to have an abortion can always be prevented. Sex education is always given in school between 5th grade to middle school. As we hit puberty we know what kinds of preservatives are offered to use in order to prevent pregnancy. The two most common are condoms or birth control pills. These give both guys and girls the option if which one will be able to protect themselves. Even though birth control pills are usually only offered to those who are eighteen and over condoms can be bought at any age. There are many resources out to help prevent an “accident”. Furthermore if for some reason you did take percussion and got pregnant there’s endless of help women can get. Such as if their economy is not sufficient to raise and buy baby’s needs. Open adoption is offered for those who would like to interact with the adoptive family making it easier for those who would like to have contact with their child.
