Abortion is Murder
When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the infant leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit, cried out in a loud voice and said,
“Most blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.
And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
For at the moment the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the infant in my womb leaped for joy.
Blessed are you who believed that what was spoken to you by the Lord would be fulfilled.”
~ Luke 1: 39-45 ~
I believe that when that sperm meets the egg then life has begun. When this happens, too often, your first thought is oops, now what are my choices? Abortion has come as the easiest choice to people. People’s opinions on abortion are so strong because it comes from two places. One it comes from a religious side. Second it comes from a political side. My opinion doesn’t come from either religious or political mine comes from the fact that I’m a human being and I feel that killing a person is wrong. Simple as that.
What gives you the right to kill a life because you make a mistake? You cannot go around killing people and get away with it. Why should you be able to get away with abortion? Abortion is murder. I know some people believe that when the child is born it is a person but to me it is much more than that.
I feel the greatest destroyer of peace today is 'Abortion', because it is a war against the child... A direct killing of the innocent child, 'Murder' by the mother herself... And if we can accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another? How do we persuade a woman not to have an abortion? As always, we must persuade her with love... And we remain ourselves that love means to be willing to give until it hurts...

To me when conception happens a life has been created and no one, not even the mother has the right to take that life away from him or her. When I say it is murder I do not expect if a person had an abortion they should get a death sentence what I do believe is that it should not be as accepted as it is in our society. Now having an abortion comes so naturally to people that there are 3,288 abortions a day and 1.2 MILLION abortions a year! That is only surgical abortions it is not including the pill people take to induce abortion. Also they just recently made the pill an over the counter product. This means you do not need a prescription by a doctor to use it.
I might be ok with abortion if there were not so many options to prevent getting pregnant. There are so many forms of birth control such as condoms, pills, even adoption or plain out be abstinent if you are not ready for the responsibility, but abortion is NOT a form of birth control. Girls these days feel like they can use abortion to run away from their mistakes but that is not right. Oh, I have abortion as an option let’s do that. Abortion has come so alright in society that people do it all the time like it’s no big deal.
It is not only accepted in society but it is very easy for a girl 18 or older can go to her doctor and say she wants one and she will get it no questions asked. I feel that girls should have to watch what happens to a child in the process of abortion. They should have to see how this child that was “mistake” or “accident” is being taken out of the world. Not only should someone who is thinking of having an abortion see the process of it, but this should be taught in health classes in school so kids know what their 15 minutes of pleasure could do to a life. I am not saying never have sex. Just know what might happen if you do and who it will effect because it does not just affect the two people.

Abortion is a very controversial issue in the sense that it unmoral and should be illegal. The Catholic Church believes and teaches that the killing of an unborn child is the same as the killing of a full grown human, which is immoral. One question that many have is “When does life begin and is it considered a human being or just an embryo?” By looking at the views on the topic of abortion we can better understand why abortion is not right and is unmoral. An abortion is a big decision that many…
and passion, it also comes with the risk of catching STD's or even pregnancy. When an unplanned pregnancy has emerged, living in a state where abortion law's aren't passed can drastically affect both men and women all over the country. One of the best ways to tackle pro-life arguments against abortion is by having the mother-to-be put herself in the place of the child. If her mother had made the same decision that she does, she would not be here today. Also, females who are having a difficult time with an unwanted pregnancy need to understand that they are not alone. Counseling must be proactive in trying to provide options that value human life. Options are available to those who need and want them. Information on the Internet…

Edward Kabia 3-9-2012 Philosophy Final Paper Abortion to me is morally wrong. Being raised in a religious home and having a strong moral background, I firmly believe that abortion is not an option. I value life more than anything in this world and it is wrong for another human to end another human being’s life. A philosopher like Judith Jarvis would agree with me and I quote “Most opposition to abortion relies on the premise that the fetus is a human being, a person, from the moment of conception…
woman’s right to choose The topic of abortion is and likely will remain highly controversial. It is about a woman’s right to choose vs. the rights of the fetus. In 1973, the case of Roe vs. Wade abortion was made legal without restrictions during the first trimester and legal in the second trimester with the purpose of protecting maternal health.
