[Summary] Objective: To understand the epidemic changes after schistosomiasis transmission interrupted, to provide evidences to adjust work measures and control measures. Method: Annually, from March to April, use method that combine both systematic sampling and environmental sampling to carry out the Oncomelania investigation; from June to September, use net fishing method and the straw curtain lure snail method, to carry out snail monitoring. Annually from August to October, use COPT test or colloidal dye test strip to carry out schistosomiasis screening, use Kato-katz method to check over the positives. Carry out advanced schistosomiasis surveys and reservoir hosts monitoring. Preventions such as snail control, treatment, health education, and manure management should be carried out. Result: from 1998 to 2012, accumulated investigation area 23 991.48hm2 ,area that has discovered snails 44.68hm2, newly discovered snails area 28.18hm2. dissected 3885 snails, did not found any infected person. Salvaged 5972kg of floating debris, had put out 560 pieces of straw curtains. Investigated 104 fishing boats, and 85 fishing gears, did not discover any existence of snail. Serologically investigated 60164 people, the positive rate were 0.83%, the local resident's positive rate were 0.56%, fisherman's positive rate were 1.46%, outpatient's positive rate were 12.13%. The positive rate of outpatient's blood test is relatively higher than the positive rate of the villager (χ2=131.75,P<0.01) and the positive rate of the fishermen(χ2=337.52,P<0.01),the positive
