Industry Panel I attended the panel with the five companies that included ADP, AT&T, Total Quality Logistics (TQL), West Point, and 1st Source Bank. All the companies represented their company in a positive way some representatives were more excited and enthused then others. TQL company representative was by far the best one because he gave off the most energy. There were a series of question directed to the panel. The first question was about their personal and professional path to get to their current position in human resources. Another question was about what the toughest interview question. The best ones were AT&T and Total Quality Logistics. AT&T question was name a time you made a promise you couldn’t keep. TQL question was what a common misconception others perceive about you is and what is your second biggest weakness. Another topic for the panel was how their company separates itself from their competitors in a way that will attractive future employers. 1st Source Bank replied with the fact that their bank was community based, and that their CEO came every two weeks to the bank to meet new employers. ADP replied by saying their company is with their customers from recruitment to retirement. Lastly the panel talked about the culture of their company. All stated that they follow the work hard play hard model. TQL said the company culture was relaxed for a private firm. 1st Source Bank said that the company was the typical corporate business where the
