Value 2: I like to help people in any way I can, does not matter who it is or what is they need help with.
Principal: It is important treat people the way you would like to be treated.
This value is important to me because it describes me perfectly. I like to help people personally and professionally. Professionally, I do not like not knowing all of which my position entails, therefore, I want anyone that works with me to know all that is involved with their position.
Value 5: Temperance
Principal: It is important to control what you say and how you act, body language says it all.
I chose this value because I like to just go to work, do my job to the best of my ability. I do not like to be praised for anything. My previous employers would do that at least once a week, I would thank them, and then tell them I was just doing my job.
Value 6: I take each day as it comes, I do not stress about tomorrow. I have faith that my future will lead me to better things.
Principal: Always believe in yourself and what you are capable of. I chose this value because it describes me as a person. I have always believed in my faith that everything in life happens for a purpose. I am thankful for my family, my health and my ability to finish school and work towards a better career.
In looking through the values that were scored high, my personal goal will be to become more focused in my studies in school as I am easily distracted and sometimes forget what I was doing. Most of the goals I have set for myself a long time ago, kind of worked out backwards and I am doing my first goal last, and that was to finish school.
My goals professionally after I finish school, is to find a good job with either an accounting firm or finance company and eventually open my own office for finance service. After a few years of getting the professional experience, we plan to relocate to Mexico (my husband’s country) and live there for our retirement.

To think, our first event was last year, 4/10/13 –all 9th graders, families and college partners… five months ago! The kind of academic success and working connections we’ve been able to make in such a short time (WOW, ONLY FIVE MONTHS) speaks high volumes to the power of good teaching, scholar-first activities and lessons, strong academic partners, quality homework help, scholar and staff empowerment, good role models and mentors, and most importantly, GREAT SCHOLARS! There are times when I’m working…

by a creator. One thought that Christians believe is that God created the earth and accomplished this in six days and rested on the seventh day. This is the model of how a week is set up and the model that we currently follow. Jon W. Green states “though differences of opinion exist for various doctrinal issues within Christianity, few are more divisive than controversies surrounding the days of creation and the age of the Earth.” As stated previously many people have thoughts and are curious as to…
Executive Summary In completing the survey it was evident that workplace discrimination is not as common as it is widely thought to be. The survey results showed that most people in this day and age have never experienced discrimination. Out of the ten surveys conducted only one individual from the general public had experienced discrimination in the workplace. To eliminate this sort of behaviour, a no tolerant attitude should be put in place. This would include the laws being tougher in order to…

Naturally we all assume that Chinese students are smart, but years ago that was not the case. Fifty-four years ago, the majority of China’s population was illiterate. Yes, it’s true. Before the People’s Republic of China was founded in 1949, nearly 80% of the 500 million people living in China were illiterate. That all changed when Mao Zedong’s dynasty came and education was one of the top priorities of the government. The Chinese use to not care if they could read or write because most of them would…
