At every stage of the process A.H’s opinions were taken into consideration from the moving date through to the decoration of A.H’s bedroom. A.H was supported by support workers and other health care professionals; A.H was also represented by an independent advocate (Mental Capacity Act) whom A.H had known for a number of years. During the home meeting (M.P not present) suggestions were asked for as a way to control the quantities and types of food that M.P can consume.
