Objective: The objective of the lab should describe what it is you are trying to accomplish in the lab. This should be done in 2-5 concise sentences.

Hypothesis: Most of the time a hypothesis is written like this: "If [I do this], then [this] will happen." (Fill in the blanks with the appropriate information from your own experiment.) Your hypothesis should be something that you can actually test. In other words, you need to be able to measure both "what you do" and "what will happen."

Procedure:
1. Number all steps to your lab.
2. Make sure that they are detailed.
3. This should discuss everything you do, with notations where you made mistakes or changed anything.
4. The purpose of the procedure is to allow other scientists to repeat your experiment exactly as you did.
5. Remember to be as detailed as possible, but be succinct.
