e-tute.com is a website business based in Sydney, Australia that is owned and operated by the founding partners. The website aims to provide an online platform for connecting tutors and students in interactive virtual tutorials. This is achieved via webcam, drop box functions, screen sharing and other content sharing tools.
With the increase in the use of computer technologies for schooling and easy access to online resources this website will look to make academic assistance more readily available to students. The revenue made for this website will come from a flat rate percentage of the tutors fees per tutoring session. Our financial plan is based on staying profitable and keeping expenses very low. We plan to invest all profits back into the business for the first 12 months after which time monies will be reviewed quarterly.
2. BUSINESS OVERVIEW
e-tute.com is a website startup company and as such currently operates under a General Partnership - there may be action in the future to move toward becoming an LLC.
3. PRODUCTS OR SERVICE
The service provided by e-tute.com is in the bringing together of Students and Tutors in such a manner as to increase the value of the interaction for all involved. Value for Students is derived from the high quality of tuition, the convenience of being tutored from home via Skype and from the competitive hourly rates created from a web based market structure.
The value for the tutors comes from a no risk no down payment advertising campaign, where they choose their own work hours and their own prices.
The concept of e-tute.com is unique within Australia and competitive world wide. Within Australia the demand for tutors is met with an aged system of face to face meetings where parents are far more involved than they need be. With e-tute.com, tutors are rigorously screened to meet our high standards, so that students and parents alike can feel comfortable and confident in a system that works.
As e-tute.com and the education industry grows, it becomes important to increase the value of our service. In the future we hope to be able to provide one on one tutorials at any time of the day, we also hope to expand into more niche subject matter, such as web design and cooking.
