Yu-Gi-Oh First tournament rules

Make sure you have a deck that can use in Advanced (Unrated). How to get in that game? You are required to follow BANNED/LIMITED cards then you can enter Advanced (Unrated).

1. Obey any rules/policies of the tournament venue, or any special rules of the tournament itself.
2. Always greet your opponent with friendly gesture.
3. Do not leave the duel without permission; if necessary to leave, please request permission from both a staff member and your opponent first.
4. You are limited to use one deck per tournament and you cannot change your deck as you’re progressing in the tournament
5. You are required to know how to use your deck properly.
6. You cannot purposely misinterpretation of card effects.
7. During the duel, all actions taken by either duelist must be made clear and acknowledged by both sides.
8. Each duel is limited to 30 minutes.
Though an average of 2-3 minutes should be spent on each turn, excessive time should not be spent to allow duels to conclude. Duelists who take an unusually long amount of time per turn may be penalized.
9. Any actions caused by actual misunderstandings of rules and/or card effects by both players without disrupting the duel will be ignored by the judge; however, there will be not any rollbacks or repeating the turn.
10. Judges will not listen to any objections or complaints raised after matches.
11. Talking and/or exchanging advice/information other duelists, spectators, or other third parties during a duel is strictly forbidden.
12. Always aim for a fair duel, and for its smooth progression.
If you are breaking any of rules as listed above, you will receive the possibility consequences that had been decided by judges.
The possible consequences are
A: Cautions
Cautions are given to inform a player that he/she has violated certain rules, and to be aware of them in the future.
B: Warnings
Warnings are given to inform a player that he/she has violated the rules. These are to be considered more serious than Cautions.
C: Duel Forfeiture
Duelists given this penalty will instantly lose the current duel.
If this penalty takes place between duels, the Duelist will then forfeit their next duel.
D: Match Forfeiture
Duelists given this penalty will instantly lose the current duel.
If this penalty takes place between duels, the Duelist will then forfeit their next duel.
E: Disqualifications
The Duelist loses the current match, and is disqualified from the tournament.
However, the Duelist may keep any prizes and/or awards that he/she has won before the penalty was applied.

Misinterpretation of rules and/or Card descriptions
Penalty: Caution
Taking too long on a single turn
Penalty: Caution
Talking or asking for advice from other players, spectators, and/or any nearby third party during your duel
Penalty: Warning
