We are now living on a planet that has limited resources. Have you ever thought about that one day all the reserve ran out, and us, human beings, will eventually become extinct. A few countries are already aware of those issues, and in order to reduce the consumption people built wind energy and solar power etc. to save limited energy. However, there is infinite resources outer space, we still do not know because none of us would take the risk.
