INTRODUCTION
Corporate Social Responsibility is a process with the aim to embrace responsibility for the company's actions and encourage a positive impact through its activities. The concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is generally understood to mean that corporations have a degree of responsibility not only for the economic consequences of their activities, but also for the social and environmental implications. This is sometimes referred to as a ‘triple bottom line’ approach that considers the economic, social and environmental aspects of corporate activity. Both domestically and globally, Woolworths is quietly earning respect and recognition for the integrity and depth of its corporate responsibility programs.
