Women can join the frontier Women play important roles in political, economic and cultural areas in most countries in modern times. Compared several years ago, although women improve their status in many areas, it is a strongly held belief that kitchen and laundry are for women and wars are for men. Now, women are allowed to join the army become very common in most countries, but most of women are far away from the frontier. Actually, whether ladies should be entitled to serve in the frontier has sparked spirited debate all over the world. At present, some people assert that women should be allowed to join the frontier because the application of high technology makes women easier adapt. On my perspective, I fundamentally agree their assertion for three reasons. First of all, everybody has same rights, female patriots should be granted the right to go to the front line when their motherland is involved in a war. Although in the ancient, women are limited joined in many areas, women allow learn and teach, work and supervise, vote and voted in most countries just like men not only in the law, but also from the reality in recent years. Given this sweeping progress in gender equality, there is really no sense denying them the right to stand up for their country when war breaks out. In 2000, the Equality amendment to the Military Service law stated that, “The right of women to serve in any role in the IDF is equal to the right of men.” Women in the Israeli Defense Forces are female soldiers who serve in the Israel Defense Forces. Israel is the only country in the world with a mandatory military service requirement for women. Israel is a country full of conflicts and wars. Women love their country and want to contribute to the world, so they join the army and go to the front line as men. Women did start to enter combat support and light combat roles in a few areas, including the Artillery Corps, infantry units and armored divisions. They have become the main force in Israeli. About other countries, I found the passage about foreign countries’ policy on women’s joining the army, “South Korea has begun opening up more frontline positions to women, including in artillery and armored divisions. Women have fought in Eritrea's military since its war of independence from Ethiopia in 1991 — at one point they made up 30 percent of the country's combat forces — and are required, along with men, to serve a year and a half of military service. Women have flown combat missions as fighter pilots for Britain, Pakistan, Serbia, South Africa, the United States, and others.” (Keating, 2012) Now I am convincing that women can be a great force to keep the world peaceful and protect their motherland because of the bravery and strong will.
Second, history has shown that women were fully capable that play an important role in military. There are many cases that prove women perform perfect in the war. In World War II “Women served in the Army and Navy Nurse Corps, Women's Army Corps, Army Air Forces, the Navy's Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service, in the Marine Corps Women's Reserve, and in the Coast Guard. Although not officially members of the armed forces, Women Airforce Service Pilots provided critical support for the war effort. Other women worked with the military through service with organizations such as the American Red Cross, the United Service Organizations, and the Civil Air Patrol. “ It is obvious show that women played an important role in the World War II and they had a great duty to save the world and protect their countries.
