why There is No More Divine Intervention
Zeus had always revered Athena as one of the finest gods to grace Olympus, and openly bragged to his fellow Olympians that his daughter was second only to Zeus himself. This was not enough to satisfy Athena's heart, for she felt alone; venerated by mortals and esteemed by her fellow gods, but continually slipping into the perpetually deepening abyss of absolute isolation.
Athena had never known love as she had no interest in any god for their un-adulterated arrogance turned her off to Olympians in general; in fact her only true friend in Olympus was Hephaestus, but as kind as he was Athena could never perceive him a romantic manner. Hephaestus the lame smith, as he was called, became of great value to Olympus as he was the one who forged the iconic weapons of Gods and Demigods alike. He was intelligent, loyal, and although the gods treated him dreadfully and his wife constantly sleep with other men, the lame smith retained an affable disposition. The lame smith was married, but more importantly he was physically impaired, so any disillusions he had of a relationship with Athena would never come into fruition.
One morning, after witnessing Ares sneaking into Aphrodite's chamber for about the 5th time that week, Athena decided she would no longer allow herself to wallow in self pity, and decided she would make some sort of bond with others through the use of a persona. Athena decided she would transform to this Persona whenever she felt lonesome and would go through town and rid herself of the appalling sense of isolation. Athena called the persona Theia Nausicaa, and Theia would be unattractive and poverty stricken so that if Athena were to find love it would be due to her personality and not her beauty, nor her merits, nor her status as a God. Theia was a corpulent women whom barely lifted off the ground, she had long brown hair that she wore in a pony tail, and there were no true idiosyncrasies about her besides her rancid odor.
Athena was all set and right before sunrise she snuck down from Olympus and descended a mile north from the northern entrance of Athens and no one saw her in all her majesty, but one man, the man who would come to father the end of the world, that man was known only as Phrixus.
Phrixus was the bastard child of some drunkard that presided in Athens and some inexpensive lady of the night that was no less than fifty years of age . The drunkard was sent to the guillotine in lieu of, allegedly, murdering his wife when she was found having an affair with the drunkard’s brother, and the economical escort croaked while giving birth to Phrixus. A few hours after his mother’s death, there was confusion and a massive of quarrel between the escorts and their employer as to who would take care of baby Phrixus.
“ I ain’t wast’n my time wit this here bastard” said one of the respectable laides “ I be working all day any ways, so how is I’s a go’n to raise dis damn thing” the women went on about her hardships and then started babbling about how her boss was a despicable chump in a horrendous line a work, but quickly tried to recover by saying “ Now Socrazets you noes I ain’t mean nuttin by wat I said, so please foogive me I truly value them opportunities you’s give me.”
Socrazets, a tall man with a robust physique wearing a luxurious purple toga, was having none her disrespect this particular evening, so he clinched his fist and less than a second later the babbling seemed to come to an abrupt halt.
In the mist of this quarrel it so happened that Bacchus, the leader of the Athenian occult of Hades, was at the brothel. Bacchus took Phrixus during the confusion and traveled to the northern outskirts of Athens. Bacchus carried Phrixus through the woods and walked for about a mile until arriving to a cave that remained hidden from the average eye as it was almost-completely concealed with lianas.
