28 August 2012 Wet Joy We arrived at Winona Lake, and it was so bright and warm outside. It was perfect. We each payed $15 each to get in. The staff was very professional and friendly. There was a long line but we got in quickly. The sight was amazing, it was more like an artificial beach rather than a lake. There was sand everywhere surrounding the water, and beach tables with colorful umbrellas over them to cast some shade. I could smell the delicious scent of hot dogs and hamburgers being grilled by the concession stand. There was another smell in the air but it wasn't so delicious. It was very nasty to smell the lake water. However, both smells combined found peace in my nostrils. Although I was a bit concerned that I would go home smelling like fish only. We found a table where we would put our stuff while we swam. It was a little crowded, so we decided to wait a bit, sit down, and see what activities the place offered. The chairs they had were a bit uncomfortable. The chairs were just plain ole stiff plastic, nothing fancy. As we sat there and looked around though, we were impressed at the things around. There was a blob, which is an inflated object with an undefined shape, but it was yellow, about 20 feet long, and about 10 feet tall. There was a tower about 35 feet, which was behind the blob. People were jumping off the tower onto the blob and launching other people who were on the other end of the blob in the air. There was an inflatable ice berg with handles on it for people to climb, which was about 15 feet tall, completely white, and with blue handles. There was a yellow log that was about 9 feet long where people stood on it and ran to make it roll until they fell in the water. There was a slide that was about 15 feet tall and was made of some kind of metal that doesn't rust with water. We also saw another slide that was about 20 feet tall, this one was inflatable, it had blue and white colors with yellow handles, and it had the shape of a triangle. There was also a green inflatable called the Rock, it was all green with blue handles on the sides and it had slides on the front and back of it. The last but most amazing thing we saw was the water trampoline. This trampoline was an inflatable base, with a trampoline in the middle, the base was blue and white and had a rope on the side so people could get on and off the trampoline. Everything looked so fun that we couldn't wait any longer. “Lets go crazy!!!” yelled Mckay, as he took off his blue Aeropostale T-shirt. “Hell Yea!!” I replied as I took off my black wife beater tank top. We both got there in our swimming trunks, so changing was out of the question. We both made a run for it and ran till we could, but eventually, the water stopped us, we tripped and fell in the water. “Oh, my God. It's so cold!” Mckay uttered. I nodded, with a suffering expression on my face. The water was indeed cold, and we thought it would be perfect, given the fact that it was a sunny day and above 80 degrees. Eventually after a couple minutes, we got used to the water, and all we had left to do was to have fun. “Deno, do you want to go on the blob first?” Mckay asked me. “Yea, but we have to find a really fat guy to launch us.” I replied. “Ight lets go ask around.” Mckay added. “Excuse me sir whats your weight?” Mckay asked nicely. “320 pounds,” replied the fat man. For a fat man, this guy seemed very active and healthy. The man, was about 6 feet tall, had long red hair, green eyes, and the coolest southern accent you would never hear in Ohio. “Will you launch us off of the blob?” I replied. “Of course.” The man concluded. To make the blob work, the person jumping off the tower must weigh at least 40 pounds more than the person waiting down on the blob. Mckay weighs 213 pounds, has long blonde hair, blue eyes, and is one of my goofiest friends, so I let him go first. At
