Basically this means we are pouring heat and poison into our oceans and air, but without due consideration for the consequences. There has been a report completed by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United States explaining that current production levels of meat contribute 36 billion tons of “CO2-equivsalnet” greenhouse gases the world produces throughout one year. To make a change we are placing more emphasis on renewable energy, but even if the entire world population was to drastically cut its emission, most effects will still last for hundreds of years.
