Airport Security

Ever since 9-11, the United States has been in a so called chain-reaction. Doing everything possible to keep us safe. Yes, they have had airport security get a little stricter, but airport security really needs to be stricter by a lot. “ These basic security measures, carried out by private contractors hired by airlines, remained much the same until 2001. After September 11th terrorist attacks, the United States government responds by taking an active role in airport security”(Airport). Where they efficient at doing it? Terrorists are thinking of new ways to bring bombs on to the aircrafts; ways like putting the bomb in their shoe or their underwear ,and even put it in a bottle. They are also trying to scare the people of the United States. 8 years later from 9-11, “ On Christmas Day 2009, a twenty-three-year-old Nigerian named Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab attempted to detonate explosives...”(Airport). Apparently the United States didn't do a good job, “ Abdulmutallas had hidden plastic explosives in his underwear, which had gone undetected during the passenger screening process”(Airport). Well he got pass security and the plane what happen? “ The only reason the bombing failed was because Abdulmutallas did not properly activate the device, and other passengers aboard the plane subdued him”(Airport). Our aircrafts in the air are vulnerable to terrorists high-jacking them or blowing them to smithereens. We should make it where no one can enter the cockpit besides the pilot, and flight attendants should be triple checked so no terrorists is able to pass or be a attendant. “ Our current system takes a certain number of names that are on a watch list, a no-fly, or a selected list, and it sends
