2012 Event Volunteering Opportunities
On Sunday 11th March 2012 4,000 people are walking
14 miles between the Royal Marsden’s two hospitals in
Chelsea and Sutton aiming to raise £1 million and we need your help to support them on the day.
There are a variety of volunteer roles ranging from registering walkers at the start to welcoming and encouraging walkers at checkpoints, supporting walkers along the route, providing support as a cyclist and working with our team at the finish.

Volunteer for The Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile on Sunday
25 March you’ll be alleviating poverty in the UK and around the world.
The Mile is at The Mall, London, and volunteers are needed between 7am and 4pm. Runners will be taking on 1, 3 and 6 mile distances to raise money for Sport Relief alongside a day of top class entertainment.

Gold Challenge Olympic Stadium Event
Sunday 1st April 2012
Volunteer at a once in a lifetime opportunity to spend the day inside the Olympic Stadium and Olympic Park assisting LOCOG & Gold
Challenge to deliver an exciting event which will help the London Olympic &
Paralympic Games (http://www.goldchallenge.org/stadium).
The event will see 25,000 visitors fill the stadium with 5,000 receiving an on track experience including 100m races, 4 by 100m races and a Stadium
Parade. The event will be a celebration of Gold Challenge, its charity partners and the Olympics with appearances from celebrities, athletes as well as entertainment. Volunteers will be required from 8am until 5pm. All volunteers must be over
18. All volunteers must sign up by Tuesday 6th March for security reasons.
