Scouting Report
It is early may and the NBA playoffs are in full swing. The quarterfinal round is over, now it is the semifinal round where teams are one step closer to playing for the championship in June. The game I chose to scout was a game that took place Wednesday may 6th between the Houston Rockets and the Los Angeles Clippers. The game was game 2 of the western conference finals and was a very pivotal game. In the end the Houston Rockets were able to sneak by with a win. The Clippers were able to win game one convincing even without all-star point guard Chris Paul. In the start of game two Blake Griffin asserted himself on offense; it looked as though the Clippers would run away with the win again. In the first half Blake finished with 28 points while rockets superstar James Harden only managed 8 points. LA went into the half up 10 with all the momentum. In the second half things changed, starting in the 3rd center Dwight Howard and Harden stepped up their game and got there team to with 5. The fourth quarter is where James Harden really showed off. In the fourth quarter He had 16 of his 32 points and he hit a plethora of critical shots to keep his team ahead of the game. Clippers forward Blake Griffin finished with a game high 34 points but it was not enough. Chris Paul is expected to play in game 3, it should be an exciting game and I believe the Clippers will win.

Scouting Report
The scouting report I chose to do for my assignment is a sport near and dear to my heart, the game of basketball. This is one of my favorite sports, only second the football. This particular game I chose to scout was between two of the most prolific teams in the NBA. The game was between the Memphis Grizzles and the Golden State Warriors. This game was game two of the Western Confreres semifinals, with the Warriors being the heavy favorite. The Warriors hold the NBA's best record, having won 65 games; 4th most in NBA history. Memphis on the other hand is more of a defensive and finished 5th in the conference. Coming into Game 2 the Warriors were simply on fire, having swept the New Orleans Pelicans and blowing out the Grizzlies in Game 1. Not to mention their offense is ran by the league’s most valuable player, Stephen Curry. Game 2 looked as if it would be an easy win for the Warriors and most people would not have dared to bet on the Grizzlies. Little did these individuals know that the Grizzlies would go on to win the game. The key to the Grizzlies success was the play of point guard Mike Conley who had 22 points on 8-12 shooting, however his presence was mostly felt on defense. He held the league’s MVP to 19 points on 7-19 shooting and 2-11 from 3-point range. The league’s MVP had a bad game and so did his partner in crime Klay Thompson. The twin towers of Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph combined for 35 points and 12 boards. Game 3 will be held in Memphis on Thursday May 7th, I'm taking the Warriors in this one.

Coaching Scouting Report In football you would think coaching personalities are seen through their teams the most, more than any sport due to the nature of the game. Most football coaches in the National football League are intense and hardnosed. This is not the case for New England Patriot head football coach Bill Belicheck . Belicheck is known for his calm demeanor in all phases of his job as head coach. This includes his time on the sideline during the games, practice, and post game/practice press-conferences. No matter if his team won the most important game they could possibly win by a large amount of points, or if his team lost by 30; Bill remains cool calm and collective on the podium. The Patriots are the most successful NFL franchise of our generation; having won 4 super bowls along with appearing in 6, Belicheck has a very impressive coaching résumé. They say if it isn’t
